Geospatial Analysis & Intelligence
Spatial evidence for environmental planning, land decisions, and complex analytical questions.
What we do
Organisations making decisions about land, nature, infrastructure, and risk often have more spatial data than they can use confidently. We bring those datasets together, analyse them, and deliver clear evidence for a specific decision. Our projects range from habitat baselines and satellite monitoring to regional land screening and large-scale parcel analysis.
Environmental planning and biodiversity
Environmental policy, planning, and conservation decisions need a reliable spatial evidence base: what is present, where constraints apply, and where intervention will have the greatest value. We deliver habitat and land-cover baselines, planning and EIA evidence, nature-recovery opportunity mapping, greenspace and access analysis, and spatial support for Biodiversity Net Gain.
Earth observation and environmental monitoring
Environmental condition and change often need to be measured across areas and timescales that are difficult to cover with fieldwork. We analyse optical, radar, and other Earth observation data and produce maps, indicators and reports that help in a variety of projects: habitat monitoring, climate resilience, water management, disaster assessment, carbon projects, and land-condition reporting. We use many techniques, including vegetation-index time series, land-cover classification, change detection, flood or burn-severity mapping, water and soil-moisture analysis, and SAR or InSAR assessment.
Land and agricultural intelligence
Landowners, investors, agribusinesses, and public bodies need to understand how land is being used, how it is changing, and the opportunities or risks across the area. We combine parcel, environmental, satellite, climate, and statistical data to analyse land at any scale (site, portfolio, regional, national). Projects can include land screening, crop-condition monitoring, regional production analysis, supply-chain evidence, and processing of drone imagery already collected by a client or survey operator.
Bespoke spatial analysis
Some questions do not fit a standard service category. A client may need hundreds of thousands of parcels filtered against a new policy, several datasets reconciled into one evidence base, or the same analysis applied across multiple regions. We design and deliver bespoke spatial analysis for these questions. We source and assess available data to produce clear findings based on reproducible methods. Deliverables can include ranked or filtered datasets, analytical reports, recommendations, statistical summaries, and supporting maps.
